Alexia Meru

Hello, I’m Alexia Meru, and I am honored to serve as the Communication and Marketing Manager for Empower Horizon. With a deep passion for storytelling and a commitment to social impact, my role involves crafting and executing strategies to amplify our mission of empowering underserved communities in developing countries.

I bring 15 years of experience in communication and marketing, having worked on campaigns that connect global supporters with meaningful causes. My strengths lie in developing compelling narratives, building impactful partnerships, and leveraging digital tools to broaden our reach and influence.

At Empower Horizon, I oversee a range of activities, including designing marketing campaigns, managing our online presence, and fostering relationships with donors and media outlets. I collaborate closely with our dedicated teams to ensure our message resonates with diverse audiences and inspires action.

Outside work, I’m passionate about reading, encouraging the elderly to take up sport and raising awareness of access to education. It’s a privilege to contribute to our collective mission, and I’m excited about the change we’re creating together.
